Effective 17 September 2026
Lume is a daily glow coach. It is built so your face stays on your phone.
On this device: a photo you take for a scan, the glow scores computed from it, the onboarding answers you tap, ritual checkmarks, and whether a trial is running. That lives in on-device storage. It is not an account. It does not sync.
The camera is used only when you choose to scan. You can refuse the permission. Photos are not sent to a server as images.
If insights are requested, Lume may send numeric scores and the onboarding answers (goal, concerns, skin type, sleep, age range) to generate three short lines. The photograph itself is not attached.
No advertising identifier. No face database. No sale of data. No tracking across other companies’ apps. No account, so there is no profile to hand to a broker.
When Lume ships on the App Store, Apple processes payment. We receive subscription status, not your card. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Lume is not directed at children under 13.
Delete my data, in the app, wipes scans, scores, the ritual log, and the trial on that device. Deleting the app does the same for that device.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
