Lume

Terms of Use

Effective 17 September 2026

By using Lume you agree to these terms. If you do not, delete the app.

The product

Lume is a coaching tool. It reads a photo on your device, scores glow, evenness, texture, and calm, and suggests a sixty-second ritual. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a clinician. Scores are not a medical finding. If something on your skin worries you, see someone who can look in person.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Lume on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or wrap the product as your own.

Subscriptions and purchases

Your content

Photos you capture stay on your device unless you choose to share a card. You are responsible for photos you share. Do not scan anyone who did not agree.

Acceptable use

Do not use Lume to harass, to make medical claims about other people, or to attempt to break the scoring.

No warranty

The app is provided as is. Glow is lighting, sleep, and luck as much as product. We do not warrant a particular score or uninterrupted service.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions you make from a score. In places that do not allow these limits, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last twelve months, or zero if you are on a trial.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a change is acceptance.
